a bad-ass pineapple fruit salad

AT the Sidewalk Cafe, Sony, the sidewalk playboy, fashionista  and consummate salad-maker is rustling up a bad-ass, sorry, an amazing fruit salad for the sidewalk diaspora's dessert, sorry, I meant lunch. Tomatoes are fruits, but he sensibly excludes them on this occasion. Salad clever, indeed. No cucumber neither. Anyone who incorporates tomatoes in fruit salads might as well add dill and celery seeds. GROSS!

The ingredients Sony is using are grapes, diced pineapple, bananas, paw paw and oranges. All fruits are fresh, adequately riped, washed and not soft. To make the dressings, he whiskes lime juice and orange juice together. Yoghurt will be available to passers-by who fancy it.

The different textures and colours make the salad so beautiful, passers-by might want to keep it, instead of eating it. They gonna ove it so much, they'll be clamouring for it each day.

a bad-ss cucumber salad

Raw salads are dramaticaly the new dessert at the Sidewalk Cafe. This is what the sidewalk diaspora needs. Perhaps it was comtemplating the move while feasting on the cafes delectable desserts. The sidewalk playboy, Luis, is here to support them.

Luis, is making a bad ass cucumber salad. Ingredients are - Red onions, lots of cucumber, of course, tomatoes, onions, broccoli, kale, cardamom, cauliflower, rice vinegar, black pepper, toasted sesame oil.

Luis might experiment with raw corn another day.

LUIS:  (to passer-by, Kendra)

If you are concerned about your intake of sugar, salt and vinegar, then this salad is not for you. The rice vinegar constitutes sugar, salt and vinegar. Sorry.

KENDRA

IS IT disgusting?

LUIS: Not at all. It’s so yummy and it was so easy to prepare. Best salad you've ever tasted! It’s a nod to Japanese salads. Japanese salads are about simplicity, finesse and fine taste.

Reese: It's Delicious
